****THIS IS A 6 WEEK COURSE ON THURSDAY MARCH 6, 13, 20, 27, APRIL 3, 10 12:30PM-2PM PACIFIC ***** Its common for Betrayed Partners to struggle with shame, trust, and vulnerability after uncovering devastating secrets kept by their partners. Kristin uses Dr. Brené Brown's Daring Greatly's material (Daring Greatly workbook and videos included) to help participants identify, explore, and heal maladaptive fear, shame, and vulnerability issues. She will educate participants and engage in discussion on topics around intimacy, connection, shame, & vulnerability, and developing shame resiliency skills. The group is limited to 15 people in order to allow the group setting to remain safe, intimate, and supportive. Kristin will provide a mix of lecture/education, Q&A, and open discussion/support for all clients. There will be exercises, tools, and homework provided to help you apply the material in your life and circumstances. There will also be optional weekly break-out sessions that will allow participants to connect and get to know one another. This group is an excellent next step for betrayed partners who are moving beyond their relationship crisis and working on personal and relationship growth (its not recommended for those who recently discovered betrayal). Daring Greatly is also perfect material for anyone looking to work toward trauma healing, better understand themselves and others, and develop skills to live more authentically, bravely, and in deeper connection with self and others. (This group should not replace therapy.
